He is currently a full-time student in the Fashion Business Management program at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), continuing to build his brand while studying the business of fashion.

Young Mr. Traiwas

EARLY LIFE & JOURNEY

Traiwas was born into a Thai family in Bangkok, Thailand, where creativity and hard work were deeply rooted in his upbringing. He grew up in a close-knit household, active both academically and in extracurricular activities. During his free time, he focused on the arts, painting, dancing, and dreaming of becoming a supermodel and a business leader, just like his grandparents.

After graduating from Traimit Wittayalai High School, Veera was determined to continue his education abroad. He wanted to explore a different part of the world. At 20 years old, he moved to New York City, where fashion is everywhere, and it matters.

A PAINFUL CHAPTER

Difficulty began in 2019, marking the start of a painful chapter.

Veera lost all his family elders, his parents and grandparents—at a young age. When his loved ones passed away, life forced him to grow up quickly and face the world on his own. Grieving and uncertain, he held onto the legacy his family left behind. In the midst of it all, he found comfort in his older brother, Panudesh.

R O M A N C E

Veera married Christopher in 2022. It was a deep, romantic relationship. Their love gave Veera the strength to move forward through grief and uncertainty. Side by side, they began building a life together, supporting each other, growing together, and starting a new chapter of roman in New York City.

A NEW CITY, HONEY.

Traiwas made the brave decision to move to New York City in 2023 because when he was growing up in a Soi Fraser And Neave neighborhood, he surrounded by challenges—including casinos and drugs—he had always longed for a better environment to grow and learn. New York, with its dynamic fashion scene, felt like the right place to pursue his passion and reshape his future.

EDUCATION, GROWTH & COMMUNITY

In early 2024, Traiwas took the first big step toward his career by enrolling at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), focusing on online courses that introduced him to digital business and strengthened his foundation in English. At the same time, he began studying at Mercy University in New York, where he worked through general education courses until May 2025.

These experiences helped him build confidence, sharpen his skills, and prepare for what’s next. Now, he’s set to transfer to the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) to study Fashion Business Management, with a focus on marketing, e-commerce, and the business side of fashion.

Once in Manhattan, Traiwas wasted no time diving into the city’s vibrant energy. He enrolled in tech and business programs, sewing workshops, and joined nonprofit clubs. He attended fashion events, built meaningful connections with people from around the world, and began carving out his place in the industry.

For Traiwas, this marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
